These terms apply when you use this website and the free Send a Scout tool. Please read them. By using the site, you agree to them.
Who these terms are with
This website is operated by Hesk Consulting Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). These terms cover your use of the website and the Send a Scout tool. Use of the Searchlings product itself is governed by the separate agreement you enter when you create an account, not by these terms.
Using Send a Scout
Send a Scout is a free tool that runs an automated check on a website address you provide and returns a report. When you use it, you agree that:
- you will only submit a website that you own or that you have permission to have checked;
- you will not use the tool to overload, probe or disrupt any website, including ours;
- you will not use automated means to send requests in bulk or to get around the rate limits and bot protection that apply to the tool.
We may limit, suspend or refuse access to the tool to keep the service available and to prevent misuse.
About the report
A Scout report is generated automatically and is provided for general information only. It is a snapshot of what our checks found at the time, it may be incomplete or contain errors, and it is not professional, legal or financial advice. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, traffic or business outcome from acting on it.
Acceptable use of the site
When using this website, you agree not to:
- use it for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms;
- interfere with the security or normal operation of the site;
- copy, scrape or reuse content from the site beyond normal personal or business reference, without our permission.
Our content and brand
The content, design, wordmark and the searchling characters on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share the site for your own reference. You may not present our content or brand as your own, or use it in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission. Anything you submit remains yours; you give us permission to use it only as needed to run the tool and provide your report.
Links to other sites
The site may link to websites we do not control. We provide those links for convenience and are not responsible for the content, products or practices of those other sites.
Disclaimers
The website and the Send a Scout tool are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties that the site or the tool will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any consumer guarantee or right you have under law that cannot be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant service.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that place have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
